Boston was founded in 1630 and was recognized as a gamma global city. In the early 20th century Boston continued to develop. Shubert Theater opened in 1910. Fenway Park opened in 1912. The 1910 Boston Red Sox season was a season in American baseball. It involved the Red Sox finishing 4th in the American League with a record of 81 wins and 72 losses.
