Black Panther or black jaguar they are both same but they are called with different names in different places.  In United States it is called with a name “Black Panther” and in south Asian countries where it is found is called with a name “Black Jaguar”. Actually black jaguar or Black Panther is not black by birth like other wild cats it is brown at the birth and then when it reaches the age of 1 to 2 years black spots appears on its skin. By the age of 3 a black jaguar is fully black and this gradual change in its skin and color has effect on both the scientist and the mother of black jaguar. You might be thinking that how can the change effect the scientist and the mother of the black jaguar. Well for scientist the black color that appears after the birth is mysterious because they didn’t find any explanation for this and the scientist has declared the black jaguar as cryptic. And for the mother she is confused to that her baby was born brown and how come he turns into black color. That’s why she refuses to take care of the baby. It seems funny but it happens in this way and only simple words can explain the mystery. Melanistic leopards or black jaguar are the most common kinds of jaguar that are kept in captivity in zoo and in exotic pets. Some rare sightings have been done in Australia where black jaguars are found. From the recent hypotheses it has been concluded that black jaguar’s travel long distance may be from country to country, which is really new research because no other big cats travel such distances.
