BMW today announced the introduction of its new hybrid, the 2012 BMW ActiveHybrid 5 that is based on the BMW 535i Sedan. The BMW ActiveHybrid 5 is the German car maker’s first petrol-electric vehicle developed for right-hand drive. BMW ActiveHybrid combines 5 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder Twin Power Turbo engine, electric drive, and eight-speed automatic for the first time.
